2. Experience: Offering staining and painting services in Summit / Eagle Counties takes a certain and different set of skills and knowledge to get excellent results. A majority of our exterior projects consist of log homes, staining siding, staining decks and preparing exterior wood for these stains. Being in business for 14 years has allowed us to learn the “ins and outs” of exterior staining and preparation. It can be very tricky staining and preparing an exterior stain job and there is also numerous product options than the general exterior paint job. Our combined experience eases this process for you as our client. We understand that simple updates to our clients, a phone call on a rain day or showing up on time and keeping on schedule makes the entire process easier on our clients. We like to ask where we can wash our tools on your property, which areas you need completed first, if and where we can store paint. We like to ask the little things and make sure everyone is always on the same page.

5. Safety and Insurance: We carry General Liability and Workers Compensation on all of our employees. All workers are employees of DR Custom Painting LLC and we do not hire additional subcontractors without written consent from our clients. We have an excellent workers compensation safety record and consider the safety of our workers, clients, families and the environment as the upmost important. We review each job’s safety issues and hazards and communicate about potential issues.

6. Guarantee: We offer a variety of warranties on our work (depending on the scope) and conduct yearly check-ins to assure everything is on order. Our warranties vary from 3 to 5 years, depending on the finish and scope. We always stand behind our work.

7. Our Crew: Each of our crew members have been with us an average of 4 years. Our large project (commercial) foreman has been with us for 8 years. This allows us to remain consistent with our quality and develop relationships with our ongoing clientele. We maintain the right size crews and staff each job respectfully. We average 8-10 employees each season as 2-3 separate crews. We are the right size to keep our services personalized and large enough to complete larger projects. Our workers are always respectable and uniformed.

8. Products: The use of the correct products for different applications is imperative to a quality job. We know that there are always a number of options and we try to offer all the possible options to fit within your budget. When it comes to color selections, providing live samples on the exterior wood surfaces or interior walls is a must. We are always sure that there are no suprises after the job.

9. Clean and Organized: It is sort of our pet peeve to keep things in order and have a clean and tidy worksite. Whether it is a new construction site, 20 unit condominuium complex or a 10,000 square foot residence, we always keep concious to stay very organized. It is the first item on our training list and our trainees spend hours learning this trait. Often this is the determining factor on whether a trainee makes the cut.
